J. has been away on business, and her daughter, H. (girl, 7 next week) was at her grandmothers for the week. H called me on night and when I answered she says, “is this your cell phone?”
I said, “Yes.”
“Where are you?”
“I’m at home.”
“No you’re not.”
“Yes I am.”
“If you’re at home then why are you on your cell phone?”

Pretty observant to recognize that people use cell phones away from the house, but I was actually home at the time.

Not here… yet, but at Radioactive Liberty. Vote for the best one in the comments section here. I had the most horrible nightmare trying to figure out how to do it. I’m about as good with HTML as a slug is at the high jump. Now I know how to do it, so once I design a banner for here, I’ll put it up. Hopefully I didn’t mess anything up by doing all that work, but if I did, I have the pre-modified template saved… I may be dumb as a monkey, but I’m smart as a chimp. I know to save my work, just in case.

I have this problem with writing. It seems that all through out the day, my head races with ideas of what to write about. By the time I actually have time to publish any of my ideas, I am tired and can’t exactly think straight. I work in a warehouse, operating a machine, so it’s hard to even take any kinds of notes. I do try to scribble down a few ideas from time to time, but by the time I get home I don’t remember what the note is about. I can’t be very comprehensive in my note taking, because I have work to do. Meanwhile, I don’t really need my brain much to do my work, so my head spins with ideas that never get translated to the blog. I would really appreciate ideas on how I can more effectively hang on to my thoughts, and get them written down at night, without having to spend hours rebooting my brain to get started again. I know there is so much that I want to say, but I can’t say it when it’s there in my thoughts. Suggestions anyone?
