I’ve decided that I want Radioactive Liberty to just be an echo chamber of my thoughts in the comments section. Well, actually, that’s an understatement. What I’m really looking for is sycophantic admiration and adulation.

Here’s a sample of an acceptable comment:

FIAR, your amazing intellect astounds me! Wow! I only wish that there was a word in the English language that would accurately describe how smart you really are. “Super-Genius” is woefully inadequate, but not nearly as inferior as my humble and unworthy self. All hail the brilliance of FIAR!

Now here’s one that is decidedly unacceptable:

FIAR, you are a worthless, arrogant asshole. Skidmarked underwear has more intellectual acumen than you, and it smells better.

So, now that the rules are clear, commence with the praise, then visit Humor-Blogs.com, then more adulation.

We’re not even all the way through this extended Memorial Day weekend, and I am sick to death of hearing radio and TV broadcasters tell me that “this is the official start of summer.”

No it’s not – or did I miss the memo from the Earth’s axis? Did the Earth and the Sun agree to a date change on when the Summer Solstice was to occur this year?

Now, I realize that I’m talking about broadcasters here, so the average broken hammer is probably more intelligent, and more literate as well, but still, isn’t there someone in the studio – just one person – that can understand the basic difference between official and unofficial?

You see, this weekend is the unofficial start of summer. This means that for some retarded reason, even though the official start of summer is still almost an entire month away, brain-dead morons start droning on endlessly about how it’s summer now. That day on the calendar in the third week of June that says “First day of Summer” is the official start of summer.

Now, do I want to literally slap these imbeciles upside the head, or figuratively? Either way,
Humor-Blogs.com is your official one stop shop for teh funny. I mean that literally.

Of course, let’s not forget that this isn’t even really about the UNofficial start of summer. It’s about the heroic sacrifices that have been made to preserve our freedom, and to give the gift of freedom where there was none. Let’s salute our military – past, present, and future – both literally and figuratively.
