Due to an injury sustained during an unfortunate moustache trimming accident, our Thursday correspondent, and author of the funny and entertaining Angry Seafood, ChrisC was unable to publish one of his trademark satirical editorials this week.

I have been told that he was attempting to trim a Rollie Fingers back into a Magnum PI. He was drunk at the time. Let this be a lesson to all of you. If you trim the ‘stache while in a drunken stupor, you could get seriously hurt. Just say no.

On last report, Chris was listed in critical but stable condition. Hopefully things will return to normal next week. Let’s all wish Chris a speedy recovery. Someone needs to bring the funny around here.

I’m sure that in no time, he will again be able to keep a stiff upper lip.

The Flame War Parody is becoming quite a popular feature here at Political Humor by Radioactive Liberty. I’m glad I brought back the format. Now, before I pat myself on the back too violently and wind up with a broken arm, I would like to mention that if it weren’t for you, the readers (at least those who participate), it wouldn’t be as great as it is.

I’m opening up the Flame War Parody to all and anyone who would like to make a suggestion for the topic in the upcoming weeks.

If you aren’t sure what the Flame War Parody is all about, it’s posted on Sundays, and it’s a retarded argument. Basically, the point is to argue about something that people have no business feeling strongly enough about to resort to name calling and flame wars, but when done right, name calling is resorted to and a flame war ensues.

All in good fun, of course. We’re doing a live action parody of genuine internet flame wars. The best was when 7 Bates took the thread into Godwin’s Law territory by referencing Hitler. Now that’s how it’s done!

I call on all Humor-Blogs.com members to take it to the next level, and offer your suggestions for upcoming topics. Don’t forget to continue the discussion on unbearable male vocalists as well.

Of course, credit will be given for suggestions that get used. And it’s not as easy as it looks coming up with these things.
