So are we separating the desire to rape Children from the actual act of doing so.
I can be open minded about the psychiatric profession trying to understand and treat that condition.
However, once the act, of exploiting a child, has been committed; I loose compassion and care only to prevent the act from occurring again.
The good of society outweighs the needs of the individual who would commit such an act.
I just had an interesting discussion, on this subject, with a friend (during lunch).
We agreed that this sort could be allowed to continue to exist, as long as those who could become victims could be protected.
We also agreed that allowing these people to continue to exist should not cost society anything.
So maybe a sort of colony could be established, where the colony produces enough revenue (maybe organic farming of some sort) to cover all of its own costs. Costs would include the cost of guarding the colony and transporting newly discovered members to the colony.
Those who care to study these dangerous lifeforms can go to the colony and study them.
