Political Humor | Andrew Levy: Smugnoxious™ Bastard

It occurred to me, after reading a post on Fmragtops Spews, that it really doesn’t benefit me any to know a minor celebrity, like Andrew Levy, unless I can abuse use that to my advantage. I saw the video clip on Hot Air that FM linked of Andy on the New Faux Noise show, Pink Eye. and my first reaction is, “Yawn!” However, there are probably people that think that sort of thing is funny. Yes, indeed, there are juvenile, insensitive fascists in this world that would think a joke about Muslims in space is funny. The fact that I am one of them is irrelevant to the issue at hand.

The point is, I can probably benefit from talking smack about the former Cranky Insomniac - and more importantly - stealing his word. Even though it was Levy that coined the word “Smugnoxious™”, I hereby declare that it is my word and I invented it. For those of you who think, “That would be wrong. That’s both lying and stealing,” I would like to remind you that Levy is an Ooey, Gooey, Jooey.

So, when “Smugnoxious™” becomes the new trendy word, like “Truthiness,” just remember who coined the word. I can ride the coattails of Levy to become a minor celebrity myself, and I will work at least as hard as it was to write this post in order to do so. I want my comeuppance.
