I heard the Second Amendment described like this: We have the Second Amendment in case the government starts ignoring the first one.
I forget where I heard that, but it’s very accurate.

It’s my belief, (And I will delve further into this when I update my campaign platform) That all other freedoms stem from the right to own property and they are protected by the right to keep and bear arms.
