Political Humor | Bush Won!

OK. So I’m even later than CBS News at calling the race, but I didn’t have a blog yet either. It’s just fantastic watching all the left-wing, nut job, whacko kooks completely flip their lids over the whole thing.

Slate had this piece by June Thomas about the European attitude toward our election Brits to America: You’re Idiots! To be clear, it is not June Thomas’ assertion that we’re idiots. The headline embodies the subject matter. It’s those self-loathing, elitist, Europeans that think we are on a path to apocalypse, having re-elected Bush.

Also on Slate Louisa Herron Thomas Writes an article entitled How to Move to Canada Will They take Us In? She writes,

and then cites VietNam draft dodgers as an example, and tops it off with a link to the Canadian Immigration site.Is this really necessary? Then again, these are the people who claim, and I guess even believe the Bush administration tho be as fascist and opressive as Hitler and the Nazis. Either way, I’m getting a big kick out of it.

Maureen Dowd of the New York Times flips her lid, writing that

“W. doesn’t see division as a danger. He sees it as a wingman. The President got re-elected by dividing the country along fault lines of fear… W. ran a jihad in america so he can fight one in Iraq…”

She refers to Vice President Cheney as a “cuckoo clock” and calls Zell Miller’s stirring Speech at the Republican convention “over the top.”

Ok MoDo, if you say so. I’m sure you’re much smarter than any of the 58 milion americans who just re-elected the man. We’re all just a bunch of dumb rednecks I guess. Well, at least you can always move to Canada. Please do.
