Voting Begins Tomorrow!
Thanks to Insolublog, who I sincerely hope is doing better, I have been informed that Radioactive Liberty is a finalist in the 2006 Weblog Awards in the category of best 501-1000. The full list of finalists in the category is:
Radioactive Liberty
Vince Aut Morire
Merri Musings
Project 2996
Stones Cry Out
Darleen’s Place
Hooah Wife & Friends
Blogs of War
Decision ’08
Joust the Facts
So it looks like a pretty soft field out there. You Mongers are about to show these bloggers what Mongering is all about. Vote early, vote often. Vote, even if you’re dead. I suggest traveling around with a hot spot detector and a laptop so you can vote five or six times a day.
Oh yeah, vote for Insolublog as well. He seems to have made it to the final round too, and he deserves it more.
Point Five, who I copy all the time is a finalist as well.
And let’s not forget Samantha Burns.

Blog Awards
Well, the 2006 Weblog Awards have arrived, and I don’t notice a nomination for Radioactive Liberty in the Best of the Top 501 – 1000 Blogs category. Now, I’m allowed to nominate myself, but if I have to do that, then what’s the point of even having a Monger Horde™?
Am I just supposed to sit and accept my mediocrity? You should know me better than that. I don’t expect to win, of course, but that’s not the important thing. What’s important is that you feed my delusions of grandeur.
It’s not whether you win or lose that matters, it’s whether or not you injure your opponent in the process.
I work best when I am insulting people. Blog award competitions are a treasure trove of potential victims. Or would you rather I spend the next month insulting you?
Now get to work before I start cracking skulls. My megalomania must be satiated.

On a related note, I nominated Insolublog for the Best of the Top 3501 – 5000 Blogs. Go support that nomination as well.
UPDATE: Von is a worthy member of the Monger Horde™. Now go prove your worthiness by seconding, thirding…

Pwned Trolls!
I don’t know if you noticed, but I haven’t posted anything today. I mean now I have. I’ve been busy laying the smackdown on some politically correct thought police, and it looks like I won.
No need to read the whole thing, here’s the important part:
(One common thug says):
I know someone who can tell you how you can help. If you go here an online Army recruiter can chat with you and probably tell you — and if he or she can’t, you can find a recruiter here.
I know where the nearest recruiting office is located. I’ve been in there. Any further details are none of your goddamn business. I issued a chalenge to you to tell me why the propaganda war is (in your side’s opinion) only allowed to be fought by your side. You failed. I win.
OYE, you say
Operation Yellow Elephant merely asks that those eligible to serve who support the war consider serving,
Now why would people opposed to the war want to encourage people to go to the recruiter. That would seem counterproductive, and hypocritical.
But it’s not, because that’s not the goal. The goal is to shame, humiliate, ridicule, and embarass young people who are supportive of the war into FEELING like that would be hypocritical.
The purpose of which is two fold. First, to stifle pro-war rhetoric. Espousing such will result in humiliation, ridicule, and shame, or the attempt at as much. Sound a little thought-policy to you? It does to me.
Second, to use that shame, humilition, etc. as a vehicle for causeing youngsters to ABANDON their pro war position.
Your position requires nothing, and there is your supposed “consistency.” You advocate nothing and you do nothing.
You people are political correctness, thought police thugs.
Plain, insignificant, common, thugs.
Checkmate!
**
But wait, Operation Brownshirt also says:
If you are not eligible to serve, you’re off the hook.
What the Crap kind of bigotry is that?
So what’s so special about the disabled that they can’t contribute to the war effort? Those guys are not only thugs, thought police, and bullies, they discriminate against the disabled too.
MONGERS!
and don’t forget to help win the war by getting the post over 200 comments.
