There’s a synonym in there I would wish to use, but it’s still fitting, because there is a certain political party represented by this animal. Mr. Hagel’s rhetoric reminds me of that party’s talking points. Why can’t he just join them so he can’t be used as the talking point that, “even Republicans, like Chuck Hagel, think we should pull out.”
