The movement to impeach President Bush is really picking up momentum. There are currently 29 co-sponsors. I’m in favor of this action. We need to focus on getting President selected not elected out of office as soon as possible.

Some Democrats in the House seem to be more concerned with getting re-elected than in doing what is best for the country. We need to let them know that our top priority is the impeachment of President Bush, and NOT winning elections. Where will the Democratic party be in 2008 if we focus on policies and agendas that will appeal to the American people and win elections?

That is not the issue. The key issue of our time is making sure that we get revenge for the impeachment of Clinton, and move forward on the process of impeaching Bush for his unconstitutional spying on American citizens.

This Domestic spying unwarranted wiretapping is a policy that not only is Anti-American and unconstitutional, but also doesn’t make sense. You would think that the President would be concerned with the plans and activities of suspected and known terrorists. Instead, he seems to be concerned with listening on on Mrs. Jones telling her husband not to forget to pick up Timmy from soccer practice.

Really, Mr. President. What do you have to gain from checking the latest gossip from some teenage girls in high school. I’m sure that Bobby really is just dreeeeeeamy, but how does that protect our country? You should be trying to gather intelligence on the terrorists, and what they are doing.

This impeachment is about so much more than just violating the constitution. It’s also about his complete negligence from his duty to protect the country. Clearly the President is far more concerned with finding out if Joey is cheating on Sally, than in defending our country from the possibility of future attacks.

We can do it Democrats. We can win this if we just put our priorities in order. Then we can get to the business of trying Bush at the Hague for war crimes at Abu Ghraib.

For you neo-cons that may be thinking, “Yay! Cheney for President.” Don’t be so quick to celebrate. He’s on the chopping block too.

Democrats, remember, we are your base. We know what the primary goal here is. It is to impeach Bush.
