Why do I feel like that should be the title of a movie featuring Chevy Chase?
I don’t know if you are aware of fax spam or not, but it does exist. Recently, I came across one that I found amusing. It starts off with a big, 48pt boldface header that says, “Memo.” There’s no company letterhead, or anything that would indicate that it’s an actual, official company memo - because it’s not.

Respond: 1-800-***-****All Employees Must Review:
Oooh! sounds important. I bet it’s about employees taking unauthorized time off or something.
This will be the last chance for all employees to have your choice of World Class Beach Front Resorts on the Mexican Caribbean.
As of today all employees still have access to our corporate vacation packages at our COMPANY RATE (up to 80% off retail). All vacations are good for one year with no black outs. Call if you are interested because every year these go fast!
That’s odd. I don’t recall there being a company discount vacation plan. Where was I that day? It seems like something I would remember. My mind is like a vault, after all.
This year we can choose from:
Mayan Riviera, Cozumel, or Puerto Vallarta.
All trips are 6 days and are All-inclusive (meals and drinks!)
All packages are $329 per person.
Are you sure you work for our HR department, and not someone else’s? Oh, and thanks for clarifying the definition of “all inclusive” for the short-bus crowd.
If you like diving (like my husband), then ask about the Cozumel Package.
Aww. I really appreciate the personal touch there with the bit about your husband. I feel like we’re siblings now, or best friends forever.
You must call now to take advantage of this company offer.
It’s a “company offer” alright. Just not my company.

We’re best friends forever now. I can see that you realized there’s no need for the formalities of last names. I am glad, though, that you made sure I could differentiate between you and Mary J. which you’ve clearly smoked a shitload of if you think I’m going to believe that this is a memo from my HR department.
if you feel you have recieved this company memo in error, please call 1-800-***-****.
No. It was no error. You spammed me on purpose. I’m just not that stupid.
I’m sure that Humor-Blogs.com also has some discount Mexican vacations available - or maybe not. Be sure to check it out either way.

The real question here is, “Did she attach a cover sheet to her TPS report?”
