I love how all these Lefty dimwits, with their talking points rhetoric, seem to think that conservatives are merely namecalling, or smearing when they call someone a communist, or a marxist. It seems like they are the ones that fail to understand that is exactly what they are.
As a demonstration I will begin with a few favorite talking points of the Moore-ons.
..the cumulative weight of an increasingly unpopular war, Katrina, indictments, incompetence, corruption, scandals, cronyism, and deeply felt anxiety with energy costs and the economy had taken its toll on the standing of the Bush administration.
Wow! That one’s pretty comprehensive. I think that could qualify as several talking points.
Probably never before has the political and moral legitimacy of U.S. imperialism been at such a low ebb. Even during the height of the fighting in Vietnam, the U.S. government wasn’t as isolated as it is now. It is no stretch to say that our government is a pariah in the world.
Holy crap! It’s not another Vietnam. It’s worse than Vietnam.
There is a limit to how much you can cut taxes; there is a limit to how much you can grow the federal deficit; there is a limit to how much you can cut interest rates; there is a limit to how much you can expand housing and inflate housing prices; there is a limit to how much you can increase consumer and corporate debt; there is a limit to how much you can pile up trade imbalances and indebtedness to foreign investors; and there is a limit to how many commodities can be piled on world markets.
Don’t cut taxes, don’t lower interest rates, don’t produce commodities. Got it. Those are just short term solutions, I guess. The booming economy is an illusion.
- …this administration is very reckless, in fact more reckless than any in our lifetime.
- no popular mandate
- tax cuts for the wealthiest corporations and families
- brazenly defends its secret spying, the use of torture in countless countries, the illegal roundup of thousands of Arab and Muslim people and the denial of their due process rights,
Thanks to a right-wing-dominated U.S. Supreme Court, the 2000 elections brought into the White House a team of neoconservatives that was chomping at the bit to pursue a far more muscular, coercive and unilateralist policy than previous administrations. And then thanks to 9/11 the following year, this bellicose gang was handed the pretext to employ their new policies full throttle and pursue their global ambitions.
Sound familiar, Kossacks?
The use of fear of terrorism by the Republican Far Right is being pumped up to undercut the peace majority and justify illegal spying and attacks on new immigrants.
We’ve heard these all before, and all from people who deny a communist agenda. All from people who refuse to acknowledge any asssociation at all with communism. Shall I continue?
The Klan-type anti-immigrant forces have a special goal to divide African American and Latino communities over the issue of immigrants and jobs.
Opposing illegal immigration=Racism. Understood.
Centrist Democrats and the Democratic leadership have lagged behind the peace majority, fearful of being painted as unpatriotic or soft on terrorism by the far right.
I grow weary. I think I’ve made my point, almost. So, what’s the agenda then?
A Democratic majority can hold the Bush administration accountable. It will strengthen the peace movement. The best path to end the war and bring the troops home, the best path to impeach Bush and Cheney, is to elect a Democratic majority and keep up the mass pressure. There is also a need to search out and elect more advanced fighters for peace and human needs at every level including Congress.
Okay, so the goal is to elect Democrats. That sounds like something Democrats would want to do. Except that it’s what the Communist Party USA has as it’s objective.

I think it’s time the DUmmies realized that they really are in the same camp as the communists. I won’t hold my breath.
Hey Libtard! You’re a Commie, and I just proved it.
I also read a great write-up in the Boston Globe about Communist Chic fashion trends. Leave it to the DUmmies to fail to see the irony of thinking a political ideology that has killed over a hundred million people is cool and trendy.
Richard Evans documents the 42 goals of the Communist Party as outlined in 1958. They’ve pretty much got it all done too.

Think of it this way. If the Liberals di understand what ecaxtly they stood for…we wouldn’t have as much fodder to use against them.
At least Conservatives actually understand the dogma of the movement…

Did I actually just say “If the Liberals di understand what ecaxtly they stood for…“?
What I meant to say was “If the Liberals did understand what exactly they stood for….

Personally, “angry” sounds to be a better response than “afraid”…
