When I was a kid I didn’t think I’d live past 30 because of what I was taught about the Cold War in school.

Most of the scary stuff and close calls happened in the 60′s yet we were taught that any day now the world would end due to nuclear annihilation.

I bet if you polled myself and my classmates back then the results would mirror the current study as far as future expectations.
