If you get a nasty case of food poisoning Andrew I guess you can blame it on fear and disinformation; hygiene, proper food storage, and sanitation be damned.

freegan-ism is about self-responsibility, honesty, transparency, being productive, fun, sharing, and not escaping reality/ living in denial. It’s the next step for mankind for those who are ready to get off the “take pills die” dealth cult-ure sinking ship.

Freeganism goes beyond money, government, socialism, liberalism, republican, democracy, countries.. Though it’s nothing new. It doesn’t take sides, it’s neutral. It soley depends on what actually “works”. Yeah but once the food hits the trash it is no good for human consumption, either through cross contamination or living in the danger zone of 41-140F.

I watched a video where someone was bragging about cottage cheese they found in the trash was still good for a few more weeks.

That would be true if it was kept in a fridge but they found in a garbage bag which was at room temp for who knows how long.

At that point an expiration date is meaningless if it is not kept at the proper storage temperatures.

If you were truly concerned about your fellow human beings you would. Why do you hate starving people?

So, how is being wasteful bad? The more I buy and don’t use, the more free stuff other people get to have. If we stop wasting our food, these people will starve to death.

While I will never choose to live this lifestyle. I think what Madeline and other freegans are doing is making a good point. We waste a lot of food.
