Today is Groundhog Day. As far as I understand, this means that Punxatawny Phil, and a few others are brought out from their dens. If the groundhog does not see his shadow, then there will be 6 more weeks of winter. (Actually almost 7)
If the groundhog does see his shadow, then he is doomed to repeat the day over and over until he finally gets it right. This will include several successful, but ultimately failed suicide attempts, learning to play piano, and nailing the local tramp.
Success is achieved through falling in love with a co-worker. At least that’s my understanding.
