The thing I have about calling the Left unpatriotic, is that it’s far more than just anti-war sentiment. Go down the list of the bill of rights, and see how many the Left is trying to undermine or subvert. There’s a whole range of reasons to call the Left unpatriotic, and to do so would be accurate. I agree that patriotism pertains to the government you pledge your allegiance to, and not the strip of land you dwell on. Our system of government is the greatest ever invented, and I despise, passionately, anyone who wishes to destroy it. Is it fair to say such a person ‘Hates America’? Yes, and I will continue to do just that.
