I am a Republican and I’m proud to be one.

President Bush, John McCain, and pretty much every single other Republican in Congress is what I describe as a RINO-Repub in name only.

Reagan, he was a Republican. He’s the Republican that made me a Republican. Just because these assclowns in Congress can’t find their butt from a hole in the ground doesn’t mean I won’t give up hope that Reagan Republicans won’t be elected someday.

There’s a big difference between politicians and people, like myself, who describe themselves as Republicans. Keep that in mind.

I have to agree with FIAR on this one…

Republicans have allowed the specter of not getting elected to cloud the conservative platform they so often claim to be standing on. For instance, a true conservative would not even mention ideas like “worker program” or “amnesty” for individuals in the country illegaly.

Foxy, The Republicans aren’t on the Right. People like me are. The Republicans are Socialists. In fact, they ARE neo-cons, which means a Socialist that is hawkish on the military. It’a term designed by dovish Socialists to make the Hawkish Socialists sound like, are you ready for it, Nazis. It’s supposed to sound eerily like Neo-Nazi. The Democrats are Dove Socialists and the Republicans are Hawk Socialists, or Neo-Cons.

you lost me somewhere at communism. I thought the extreme right were called…facist…you know the extreme right people who go to church every sunday and are then called the neo cons by smart liberals everywhere? I must say tis the first time I’ve seen the actual color red used to describe well….red. If anything maybe they are imperialist? yea sounds much cooler.

I can see how policys have shifted left but communism is a big step.(unless you gave em 50 years to pull the wool over everyones eyes) Sounds like something a moon bat would spout of …not callin you that but BUT sounds like something i read on one of them nut blogs once.

Yes, there could be better candidates with more conservative agendas, but they aren’t stepping up to the plate. The Republican party may be dying out, but until the new ‘Constitutional’ party is getting the voter base, I will have to stand behind the Republicans.

Time will heal the wounds that Washington has caused. The nation will not stand idly by forever. When the time comes, those who are willing to take on the task of border security, out of control spending, and national pride, will have the backing of a grateful nation.

I like Richard Baker. He’s been pretty conservative. Vitter, I’m not as happy with, but he’s still better than John Breaux.

It already is, Foxy, and it’s Republicans driving us there. That’s my point.
