New Laptop!…

Of course you remember that I had lamented the need for a new laptop.

I don’t like laptops. The keyboards all suck, even the best of their keyboards suck (Thinkpad) compared to an old 1987 vintage IBM PS/2 101 (which I’m typing on).

A few beads of PL-400 construction adhesive on the bottom will keep it from vibrating. The table may dance around the floor, but the laptop will be firmly attached to the table ;->

Blogger get together – Awesome. You guys show up here and I will provide the beer.

That sounds like a great idea, jt! I say I come up there, me and you take turns shooting at it, and FIAR buys both of us a beer!

If I didn’t have a new, widescreen laptop that’s NOT a Dell, I’d snap it up.

Well, maybe not. It’s a Dell. I hate Dell.

I was at my father in law’s today, and he just got one of the macbook pro’s. The thing is pretty frickin’ sweet. Of course, he did say he paid 2 grand or more for it, so it’ll be a long time before I get one. I built my desktop for about 1500, and I assure you it’s faster than his macbook, but still, it’s pretty sweet.

Pay me $10 and I’ll take it.
