It’s Not Rocket Surgery

Or perhaps it is. Newsmax reports, Astronaut to Fix Shuttle with Forceps, Scissors and a Hacksaw.

I’m glad it’s not me up there. I would just make it worse. Let’s hope the repairs go well, and everyone makes it back safely. Then let’s get around to scrapping the atiquated shuttle program, and defining a better mission than studying the effects of zero gravity on ant colonies.

The President had previously mentioned the idea of going to Mars. I can honestly get behind this kind of mission, and it’s the thing that would give the space program a sense of purpose, which of course, leads to progress, and scientific breakthroughs.

As the program stands now, there seems to be no purpose, and I don’t feel as if people are excited about the space program. The Shuttle technology definitely needs to be scrapped, and replaced with more modern technology.

Good Luck to the crew, and Godspeed.
