John Kerry Supports the War But Not the Troops

November 1st, 2006 by Fiar · 29 Comments ·

Ever since I admitted that I support the war but not the troops, the hate mail has been rolling in, and people have said things like, “FIAR is a selfish prick,” and “go die.” Many have wondered why I don’t support the troops. Well, aside form the obvious, such as the way that they

had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside.”

I usually tell them, Why would I support such a bunch of uneducated simps? Well, I normally don’t agree with Democrats, but it seems that I’ve been vindicated by none other than John Kerry.

You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.

See, that’s what I’m saying. I also commend Kerry on standing his ground and having the courage not to apologize. He could have pulled one of those Dick Durbin style non-apologies that basically amount to, “I didn’t mean what you thought I meant and I apologize that you idiots were too stupid to understand what I meant.” Kerry showed great courage in responding by saying, “I didn’t mean what you thought I meant and I do not apologize that you idiots were too stupid to understand what I meant.”

I don’t expect any of you to understand. You’re not as smart as John Kerry. You may have made the President’s list at community college every semester, like I did, but you didn’t post a D average at an Ivy League school like he did. Think about it, it’s a freakin’ community college. How hard can it be for you to “study hard… do your homework… make an effort to be smart… (and) do well?” It’s not like you nearly flunked out of an IVY LEAGUE school.

That’s the kind of leadership we need during a time of war, but regrettably, Bush stole the election with rigged voting machines in Ohio, and as a result, Kerry is not Commander in Chief of our retarded, illiterate, barely competent military.

It’s a joke people. It’s funny because it’s true. Our military really are stupid and uneducated. Thanks John Kerry for vindicating me, and showing courage under fire. You are a true leader of men.

UPDATE: I forgot to point out how it is that Kerry supports the war. He voted for it (before he voted against it) so I infer that as support for the war. Some of you hillbilly simpletons seemed confused and thought that I only proved that Kerry does not support the troops, and I will not apologize that you illiterate rubes were too stupid to know what I meant.

Also, more reasons to hate the troops courtesy of Senator Kerry:

“and there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, uh-uh-uh, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the — of — of — of — historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. ” (Link)

Finally, Wild Bill has a message from the troops. They need John Carry’s Halp.

UPDATE#2: Texas Fred reports that Sen. Kerry has flipped and gone Dick Durbin on us.

Sen. John Kerry apologized Wednesday to “any service member, family member or American who was offended” by remarks deemed by Republicans and Democrats alike to be insulting to U.S. forces in Iraq.

I should have expected as much from the unpatriotic widgetnozzle. Typical Democrat. You can backpedal Mr. Kerry, but we all know what you meant. I take back my kind words about you standing your ground.

we’re supposed to believe this person, who has spent more than 35 years insulting the military didn’t really mean to insult the military? Sorry, pal, I’m not buying it.

No sale.

Besides begin stupid, we should all just shut up.

Remember, John Kerry fought long and hard, being the only smart guy in Vietnam, who in spite of his vast intelligence, won a purple heart for suffering through a violent ass sprinkling of long grain rice.

And it wasn’t the kind you get showered with, while you are marrying a power hungry dog for her money, either. It’s the sharp hard stuff, that flies out like murder, after you lob a grenade into it.

    Damn insensitive right wing maniacs.

Just the thing I would expect from a moral coward. That screwball is the biggest asset the conservatives have. Now if only we can get him to do a Dean-scream.

Isn’t it wonderful when idiots just implode? What an ass!

    Great post, FIAR.

Odd how nobody posts all day, and as soon as I say something about it, literally two minutes later, someone chimes in, and then others shortly after.

    It’s like a rovian conspiracy=!!!

  • 8 FIAR // Nov 1, 2006 at 11:06 pm

Now that I think about it, Von, the whole thing seems like a Rovian conspiracy. I question the timing. Here, John Kerry says something that will ultimately motivate conservatives to get out and vote, and he says it just days before election day. I think it’s possible that Kerry is a double agent working for the dark side (us).

It’s a pretty brilliant move by Karl Rove to get someone people think is a leader of the Democrats to help out the Republicans like that.

    Genius. Evil Genius.

Those Jedi-mind(frak) tricks…they don’t know what hits ‘em.

  • 10 Insolublog // Nov 2, 2006 at 12:04 am

That’s it. It is a Rovian conspiracy, by Howard Dean! They secretly know they are going to lose the election anyway. They send the ass from Mass out, to be the straw man. When they lose, they get to prop him up with a big bullseye on his forehead. This way they don’t have to come up with a general excuse for their own failure. It’s not our liberal policies, It’s all Lurch’s fault. Conspiracy theories can be fun!

Ok. Insol…You were the jerk in front of me in the “get-your-brains-here” line. You brain-monger! You are too smart for me to feel even close to someone who can put a thought together. Good thing I have a sense of humor to help me get through life or I’d be effed.
