From the local paper’s police report:
An unidentified assailant attacked and raped local resident Gwen Unarm’ed last night at approximately 6:48 PM. The attacker was not deterred by attampts to fend of the attack with pepper spray. Police believe that the assailant may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Police are currently investigating to find whatever it is in society that perpetrates the mind set of a rapist. Area resident think that the police should be more concerned with finding the attacker, and bringing him to justice.
Officer Claire Voyant disagrees. She told reporters, “There is something wrong or lacking somewhere that creates this sort of mindset, and perhaps we would be better served if we spent a little time on that as well.”
A neighbor of the victim, James Consuawguy, said of the incident, “It’s very sad. This could have been avoided if a bullet had been used instead of pepper spray.”
This reporter is inclined to agree.

great post!! Right on as usual!! Say Jimmy’s post and read all comments, last I looked he had 78! Wow! I noticed Gwen and FWD and Claire didn’t give any alternatives to keeping women safe from rapist!! But they were sooo sure that a gun wouldn’t do the trick! morons!!
