You’d be surprised. Opie and Anthony invited an Elvis impersonator on the show a bunch of years back. They wouldn’t let him on unless he did the songs in the bathroom.

That joke was not that obscure unless someone didn’t know Elvis died on the crapper.

Hehe I do like to dabble in obscurity but I’ve learned there is a fine line. A good trick is layer the obscure reference under a more obvious one. Tough to do though but when you get it right, the reader can go back a second or third time and find “new” jokes.

Alex – So true. This must be where the “bigger than life” saying comes in. Maybe you can answer this. All I’ve been hearing -on every channel -is that Jackson was a Popeye Con. I don’t get it.
