My Mind is Like a Vault
Imagine the most impenetrable, hi-tech, state of the art bank vault. That is my brain. Unfortunately, the vault only has 3 sides. All the intelligent thoughts look around, and say, “Hey, guys! One side is wide open,” and rapidly make their exit.
The stupid thoughts, however, say, “It’s hopeless! We’ll never get out of here. This is an impenetrable, hi-tech, state of the art bank vault. We’ll never escape. Ever.” They throw up their hands in dismay and take up permanent residence in my brain.
This is how the intelligent thoughts never remain in my brain, but if the information is useless, worthless, and completely, utterly pointless, it stays locked away, safe and sound, for all of eternity.
