Mucho thanks to Guru Von, my most dedicated reader, for giving me a few nudges in the right direction when I didn’t know where to start. He even set up a blog on his site with the Wordpress publisher, although, it’s a little short on content at the moment. That’s OK though, because he has some really great stuff at his main site, VonRalls.com.
One of my favorites is the story of how he became politically aware. Of course, he seems to be having some problems of his own, so I am really appreciative of the assistance.
I’m about ready to start the tedious work of modifying a template I have selected to work from. Except for while I work on the new look, I’m going to stick with the “Classic” template for now, but if you happen to stop by here and things are a little wierd, it probably means I’m in the construction process.
So, to round up. Thanks Von! For helping get the new home of Radioactive Liberty off the ground. Readers, please forgive any impending wonkiness in the next week or so, and update those links.

Yeah, I read stuff sometimes. I thought it was interesting how you went from “don’t have a clue” to being able to make informed decisions.
Thanks again. I’m sure I’ll be needing that help. BTW, how do you like the category name? (I’m No Geek) I also like “I think it’s Funny” Emphasis on the I and “Politics [Yawn]“

Great! I don’t know why it’s moderating the comments. I have it set to modrate if more than 2 links are present (possible spam) but It shouldn’t moderate otherwise.
Update: I found out it was set to moderate anyone that hasn’t previously commented. Turned that feature off.

Okay, I will have to redo your entry on my blogroll. Are you still glad you did it? I would like to leave blogger but just couldn’t see a good alternative at the time.

Try the wordpress.com free blogs. I did a little test out on their functionality one night. There are some differences from blogger. It seems like the appearance is less customizable, but I liked what I saw.
Of course hosting your own site is fully customizable. It’s only been a whole 4 days, but I’m still happy about the upgrade to my own dot com.
