Good effort, but you really need to work harder on some more effective punchlines.

It gets better. The AP did a fact check on the 3000% remark which is funny on its own merit.

Apparently, Barack was supposed to say $3000, a figure attributed to a study about some of the proposals and ideas of the reform.

But that was also rebuked because the study never looked at the actual House bill.

Best yet, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius used the same $3000 figure in a op-ed piece in Tuesday’s USA Today.

The topper is the AP actually found that premiums would increase not decrease.
