Last night we witnessed an historic event, President Obama’s first, prime time news conference. We as a nation, are compelled to celebrate each of these earth moving first, the same as we would for anyone in their first year. Remember baby’s first poopy diaper? Baby’s first birthday? Baby’s first word, step, tooth…
Each of these monumental first are to be treasured. As a fitting tribute, this political humor blog would like to recap President Obama’s riveting speech about his economic stimulus package.

I’m so glad I had that math midterm last night. It saved me from seeing this through smoke and mirrors. Accuracy, Les James has it.

Maybe American’s will finally fight back.
Americans for Prosperity’s “No Stimulus Petition” circulates online
And where is all the damned hope we were promised?

The only “stimulus” his “package” needs is a good swift kick. And that goes for Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the three RINO Senators who voted for it today too.
Although, RINO is fast becoming the norm.

You’ll look back on these days with nostalgia when baby grows into a teenager, sneaks out at night, steals the keys to Air Force One and flies off for some late night nookie with the leaders of Iran.

Yessiree, BO inherits a problem started by….democrats.
I’m afraid tthe only thing that it will “stimulate”, is rampant inflation ala Carter.

I’m still trying to figure out the answer he gave to the questions posed to him.

Fiar you forgot about the second part of the “Hope for the best” mantra…
“But expect the worst.”

RT- The answer was there before you:
Obama: To answer your question, I would state that in this time of crisis, we have to look forward to those changes that will separate us from the failed policies of the past.
Great challenges await but also great hope. A hope of a people who know that their mandate has been heard.
I know that there are those who suffer and those who need. Their cries are not the cries of the lost. They are no longer alone in the wilderness of despair. Many have joined them in a sense of community, and we must see that the pain they suffer is spread amongst the many, for only then can we hope to change the patterns of the past.
The present will not look like the future, as this present did not look like the future of the past. We must all realize that there is much work to be done, and that together we will have to sacrifice a little to gain that vision of the future. For it its the future that lies ahead of us.
Reporter: I sorry Mr President, but does that mean you will be reading to school kids again?

His stimulus plan will need time. If we are still in the same boat a year from now then we can complain.
