Agreed, especially when you consider the base for judging whether a year is hotter or colder then the norm is based on the mean temp of the years 1961-1990. The man btw is 14 C or 57.2 F. (I’m not kidding on this. It is the temperature basis for the global warming theory.)

This also shows how stupid the AGW believers are. They should have used 1941-1970 as the base because it was a cooler time and would have given the zealots a much more dramatic heating up of Earth in the years following.

In 1976 a guy called Lowell Ponte penned a book entitled The Cooling, which warned of an impending ice age. In it, he wrote: “If it continues … the cooling will cause world famine, world chaos, and probably world war, and this could all come by the year 2000.’ The author Lowell Ponte is now a Libertarian radio talk show host (he’s always been a libertarian) and listed as a supporter on the Libertarian Website. Libertarians were wrong then and wrong now.
Actually only a handful of scientists put forward the cooling theory, mainly because of the amount of particles put out by heavy industry. It still is an issue in China – Beijing smog – but not the USA because of the clean air acts passed since the 1970s.

But nothing to worry about here. I’ve been told for the past 40 years that we only had 10-20 years left. What with air and water polution, over-population, atomic fall-out, famine, the oceans dying, ect, etc, ect…

Why not worry? Because we all bit the dust several years ago.
