Now, after that little shred of random advice (his intelligence is being debated?), maybe something useful. Ron Paul supports a gold currency. This is something that I, myself, support wholeheartedly; as to not make a tl;dr post, in short,

a gold currency would eliminate the possibility of our bank notes losing value. Gaining, as well, really, but isn’t gaining a cause of inflation? and losing value isn’t great, either, for obvious reasons. A gold currency, or hard standard of any type, is an honest currency.

Republicans: I have this from your own heritage.org, of the last eight presidents (W, Clinton, Bush 1, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson) every one of them has raised spending. Guess who raised it the most? Reagan at 38%. Guess who raised it the least? Clinton at 18%. W is in a three way tie at 25%.

Voting for the same pseudo-conservatives like John McCain, who’s idea of decreasing the size of government is eliminating the $18 billion in earmarks which make up less than 1% of the budget, you will continue to be disappointed. Our Consitutional liberties are being eroded, government is expanding with no apparent recourse and the fools in Washington continue to spend money we don’t have and propose government solutions to the problems they caused in the first place.
