It was also one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard from a musical perspective. Just rotten, and I would have never guessed it was supposed to be funny if the page didn’t say “Comedy” in the title tags.

The advantage of having one party in the white house and another in congress, is each side can blame the other for any problems.

But who was in charge of congress during most of Bush’s term?

With the Dems, they are the party of spending (tax and spend)
With the Repubs, they are the party of spending (borrow and spend).

I admit that the comments the guy makes have enough of a bias to them, that what is not said might be of debate value.
But the numbers are the facts.

You are spot on related to why the Dems won, and how it had more to do with the failures of the Republicans, then the attributes of the Democratic Candidate. Not that he lacks positive attributes, but those alone would not have gotten him elected.
McCain has many positive attributes as well, leadership is not one of them. But his values seem sound.
