I had previously stated that “America is the most giving and charitable nation on earth.”

I go into a state of life threatening anaphylactic shock at the mere mention of the word “Research” - OW! Whew! Epinephrine shot just saved my life. Anyway, I was hoping one of my less lazy readers could find a link to answer the question posed by Liam:

Fitch, Could you point me at any stats you have to support America being the most giving/charitable nation? As a nation you are somewhat down the list but I haven’t been able to find any decent figures about individual giving through charities.

Until then, Liam, I have to rely on the most rock solid, indisputable form of evidence. Anecdotal evidence. Hopefully someone will come through and prove me right. Like always.
