Well, we’re not supposed to advertise for people within 60 days of an election, but McCain-Feingold can bite me. I am endorsing Jim Gerlach for U.S. Congress. I don’t generally like politicians, and the reason I wanted to endorse someone is just to spit in defiance at campaign finance reform.
Jim Gerlach gets my vote because of the reccomendation he wrote for my neice when she applied to Air Force Academy. Specter wrote one too, but it seemed kind of like a form letter - Fill in the name here. Gerlach wrote one that was “frame it dead center over the mantle” worthy. I am proud of my neice, and Jim Gerlach made it sound like he was proud of her too.
I was left with the impression that Jim Gerlach went the extra distance in writing his recommendation. If you live in his district, vote for Jim Gerlach. I know I will.
As an additional note, I pay less than $100 per year to host my site. It was not created for the purpose of campaigning. There is less than 30 days until the election, so I am essentially contributing less than $10 to Gerlach’s campaign.

I went and looked at Gerlach’s site, and I don’t immediately want him impaled. He has my vote as well! Well, he has my vote in spirit!
