Obamas 3000 Percent Sales Pitch

Usually lowering the price of something by more than 100 percent is a very bad idea. But 3000 percent?

That’s called good governing.

If Obamacare rams its way through Congress employer-based health care will defy the laws of physics or economics or something like that.

“For Americans who get their insurance through the work place-how many people are getting insurance through their jobs right now? Raise your hands.

Alright well, a lot of those folks, your employer it’s estimated would see premiums fall by as much as 3000 percent, which means they could give you a raise.”

Well why the hell didn’t he say that in the first place? This could have saved a lot of us right-wingers some valuable time. To think we could have been able to shoot our guns more often or clutch our bibles with both left and right arms.

Instead, we spent months fighting against this so-called “reform” with our Astroturfing ways.

But I guess we were wrong. According to one of the smartest Presidents ever, a person with an employer-based health care premium would, I guess not pay anything. And the employer would also get a reduction in premiums by 3000 percent. Or maybe the employee does too.

Who the hell knows but according to the Democrats this is sound logic. Maybe we should let them run other things like department stores.

With sales pitches like that who needs enemies?

Twas the Night Before Obamas Unprecedented Christmas

Twas the night before Obama’s Unprecedented Christmas, and all throughout Washington,

Not a creature was stirring except Tim Geithner and his printing press.

The Mao ornaments were hung on the White House Christmas tree with care,

In hopes that St. Karl soon would be there.

And under that tree will be some really cool stuff of course.

“When it comes to gifts, ‘I give nicer stuff than I get,’ President Barack Obama said half-jokingly in an interview to air on ABC television Sunday.”

I bet the Queen of England can’t wait to open her present.

At least an IPod is better then the gift our government is giving us: health care reform. Grandma better not get run over by a reindeer in 2013 or she will be facing the death panels.

The Congressmen and women were snug in their beds,

While visions of Obama signing the Health Care Reform bill into law danced in their heads.

Yahoo also has visions of Obama-mania apparently:

“The Obama family faces yet another first this holiday season: their first Christmas in the White House. The people want to know what they’ll do and where they’ll be.”

Who are these “people”? Obama doesn’t show up on the web pulse list in the picture. He’s getting beat by the Van Halen version of Guitar Hero and appetizer recipes.

And as of this writing he doesn’t come up in the top twenty of Yahoo’s Buzz or Google Trends.

Bo Obama the family pet, however is like #11.

Is that unprecedented too?

Obama’s ratings are dropping like a rock. He isn’t coming up at the top of search results anymore. Hell, his dog is more popular then he is.

And it’s not even 2010 yet.

Twas the night before Christmas and all throughout the land,

Conservatives slept happily knowing the defeat of liberalism is soon at hand.

Merry Christmas everyone.

2009 Portsmouth NH Health Care Town Hall Protests

portnhhealthprotest15

On August 11, 2009 President Barack Obama held a town hall meeting about health care reform in Portsmouth, NH. While our fearless leader was preaching to the choir inside Radioactive Liberty was outside where all the real action was.

We lead off with our video recap of the protests that includes testimonials from people that won’t get interviewed by the mainstream press. They call them Astroturfers, we call them registered voters.

On to the pictures…

portnhhealthprotest03

It is funny how the pro-health care side is on the left, the anti-health care side on the right. I wonder if this was planned.

portnhhealthprotest07

Some of the left’s protesters. The purple shirts were nowhere to be found by the way. What’s that under the arrow? An ice sculpture! Those liberals go all out.

portnhhealthprotest08

There are those radical, right-wing, Astroturfers the media talks about. A lot of them took a day off from their jobs to be there but MSNBC cares little about actual facts.

portnhhealthprotest09

Hey break time is over liberals! I guess when you spend all day chanting the same monotonous slogans over and over it must get pretty exhausting.

portnhhealthprotest11

What is with all the boxes? Did someone buy a home entertainment center?

portnhhealthprotest10

The liberals also do not separate their trash.

portnhhealthprotest01

Health care reformers waiting for their bus ride home.

But enough about the left. Let’s see some of those signs from the average citizens who actually care about government control of our lives…

portnhhealthprotest04

Uncle Sam would be proud.

portnhhealthprotest05

There’s William Kostric by the way exercising his free right to bear arms. Law-abiding citizens call that Open Carry. The left freaks out and thinks he’s there to kill the President. One news reporter (guess which network) even tattled to the police. Silly liberals.

portnhhealthprotest12

Hands-down one of the best signs from the protest.

portnhhealthprotest13

Liberals bring ice sculptures, conservatives up the ante with costumes.

portnhhealthprotest14

Not passing health care reform is good for the children. Hey the left gets to use this tactic all the time right?

portnhhealthprotest16

Someone snuck this over to the anti side. Okay which liberal is the wise guy?

portnhhealthprotest17

Hear hear!

portnhhealthprotest18

Do not show that sign to Barack Obama. He thinks the Post Office is running well because parts of it make enough money to cover a portion of it’s overall loses.

The fun continues with more videos and pictures in my second post on the Portsmouth, NH Health Care Town Hall Protests over at Clearly Political.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to be interviewed, get their pictures taken, and most of all taking the time to stand up for something they believe in. Special thanks to the Portsmouth Police Department who did a tremendous job allowing everyone to protest peacefully.
