Unrest In The Middle East, W.W.J.D?
Watching the news hasn’t been boring of late. The wall-to-wall coverage of the civil unrest across the Middle East is a bit too much, but we’re sure informed.
The possibility of radicals taking over those governments are a real threat. Most of them are, at least, as bad as our own Democrat politicians. The question that keeps creeping into my mind is, W.W.J.D.?
What Would Jesus Do? Not exactly. I know what Jesus would do. He’d condemn their souls to eternal hell. What I’ve been wondering is, What Would Jack Do? That’s right, Jack, as in Jack Bauer. I kind of suspect he’d do the same. We all know Jack is no bleeding heart, although he created a lot of them.
God created the world in seven days and rested. Jack saved the world eight times in eight days (plus Redemption) and rested. I think you’ve rest enough Jack. Time to get back to work …at least for one more day.

The UK Should Rethink Raising College Tuition
So protesters in the U.K., angry over college tuition rate hikes attacked Prince Charles the other day.
British officials defended the country’s security establishment Friday after rampaging student protesters attacked a car carrying the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
The chief of the Metropolitan Police pledged to launch a full and detailed investigation into the incident, which saw protesters set upon the heir to the throne’s Rolls Royce as it drove through London’s busy West End Thursday night. A group of up to 20 protesters, some chanting “off with their heads!” smashed a rear window and splashed white paint on the vehicle. Charles and Camilla were visibly shaken, but unharmed.
In light of this incident I think the U.K. should not raise college tuition, and instead keep it as cheap as possible. Why?
Prince Charles is not a smart target for a protest.
Not only does he have zero clout with the British government but he’s not even the top dog of the monarchy. He means nothing in trying to sway government opinion.
It’s like egging the dog catcher’s house because you are pissed about the way the mayor is handling the budget.
Obviously these protesters are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. They clearly need more education.
And they are ungrateful too.
Do they not realize that without Prince Charles they would not be aware that humans have 96 months to live? (That was July 2009. We only have 79 more at this point.)
Do they not understand that without the Prince they would forget how boring Monarchs really are?
And there would be no spaghetti night every Wednesday either.
So yeah U.K. you need to re-think this idea of raising the price of going to college. You can’t afford another generation of stupid people.

RL Report: 2010 Manchester NH Tax Day Tea Party Rally
Another Tax Day, another Tea Party rally. And what a good one it was in Manchester, NH Thursday.
Update: I planned on having time Friday afternoon to finish the recap but I got called into work so I had to rush to get it done. In my haste I completely forgot to give a huge huge shout out.
Skip I apologize for the unintentional slight. No matter the reason though, I screwed up.
For those who do not know him Skip is Skip Murphy, the man behind Granite Grok and also one of the NH Tea Party Coalition founders. He invited all of us conservative NH bloggers to Bloggers Row and coordinated everything. He set us up with tables, electricity, and introduced us to various state politicians and candidates.
Thank you Skip and Granite Grok for all the hard work you put in both for the event and making Bloggers Row happen. It is greatly appreciated.
The Republican candidates for the various offices they are running for made their presence known at the event, and more then just signs. They were out meeting people, shaking hands, kissing babies.
I kid about the kissing babies part because I don’t think anyone does that anymore. Do they?
Entrepreneurs were shopping their wares…
The crowd was attentive…
But clearly not happy with the current state of governmental affairs…
Gee, I wonder why they are angry? Why does that young man in the front row look so worried?
Oh yeah. Right.
NH Governor John Lynch looks worried that I am giving him the thumbs down and with good reason. I am one of the people who will be voting him out of office in November.
I really thought he was a lot taller too.
Another dig at NH politicians. You can’t see it in this picture but both Shea-Porter and Hodes have googly eyes.
It also looks like Obama’s plan to capture the youth vote is not going according to plan.
There I am representing Radioactive Liberty and Angry Seafood on Bloggers Row. Alongside me were: America’s Watchtower, Citizens for Reasonable&Fair Taxes-Croyden, ConChrist, GilfordGrok, Libertarian Leanings, News from the Northwoods, NH Insider, NH Watchdog, No Looking Backwards, One Voice In Gilford, Pun Salad, RedHampshire, TBONH, The Blogging Councilor, Weekend Pundit
That’s a lot of bloggers. Visit them. Check out what they had to say about the rally.
On the left and right sides of the display are political humor pictures. In the middle is a picture of Obama as Capt. Obvious with an empty word balloon.
Yup, it’s an old-fashioned caption contest. People at the event gave their quotes on post-it-notes.
I got to meet Karen Testerman, who is running for NH Governor, Ovide Lamontagne who is running for U.S. Senate, and Jeanie Forrester who is running for State Senate.
I’ve got a lot more pictures along with a recap video to show in a follow-up post here later this weekend and over at Angry Seafood. And I’ve got a round-up of what the other NH bloggers had to say on tap as well.
I’ll also have a wrap-up on my thoughts about the difference in this year’s Tea Party rally coming up as well over at Politics DMZ.
