‘War on Terror’ Hollow Sloganeering

June 11th, 2007 by Fiar · 8 Comments ·

I think it’s high time that we admitted that the whole “War on Terror” thing is nothing more than bumper sticker sloganeering. After all, you can’t fight wars against an abstract concept, like: Oppression, slavery, tyranny, fascism, Nazism, despotism, or terrorism. How do you fight an abstract concept? You can’t.

We use the term “War on Terror” to make a “big, scary enemy” of civilization to rally the morons around our cause. Of course, our cause is really to pile up as many dead Muslim babies as we can.

Mmm. There’s just nothing that beats the feeling we get when we see a mountain of charred remains of innocent Muslim children.

No one wants the “big, scary enemy threatening them, but clearly there is no terrorist threat.

The time has come to dispose of the “War on Terror.”

Are all coherent and in depth arguments that address the concerns of the American People. “War on Terror,” on the other hand, is just an empty, meaningless catch phrase. Let’s throw it on the ash heap of history.

    Truth to power brother.
Another one I hate is “I’m in it to win it!” Oh wait, that’s the slogan of the goddess Hillary.

    Never mind

I can’t think of anything. Liked the post, though. :)

Brilliant! Besides, those “Concentration Camps” were merely summer camps to help Jews embiggen their brain power!

Can we go with “slap on the wrist for scarey people”??

Agreed. I think our government has learned that they can more easily spread propaganda by giving us slogans or things to get behind, such as the “War on Drugs”.

“Vast right wing conspiracy”–yep, that one worked.

Yeh, I’ve tried to kill the “War on Terror” meme ever since I heard that abortion of the Engish language. War on an emotion? Assinine. War on Terrorism I can go for.

But look who the biggest promoter of “War on Terror” is: the guy who lied out his piehole about going after those who sponsor terrorism. He still goes around holding hands with Saudi “princes” (terrorist sponsoring highway robbers). *Feh* If he were serious, there’d be a big, deep hole where Mecca is and what had been Saudi Oil would be selling for $10/barrel, wityh NOT ONE THIN DIME going to the Saudi bandits.

Instead, he concentrates on subjugating what were once American citizens by encouraging the import of unskilled workers to drive American wages down. WTG on ordering priorities, Fifi Bush!

Fifi Bush: President Felip Calderon’s lapdog, Saudi “Prince” Abdullah’s boyfriend and not-so-in-the-closet anymore flaming (fake, modern) liberal. Little did I know I was voting for a Democrat in ‘04 whe I cast a vote for Fifi Bush. Heck, I didn’t even know his position as Vicente Fox’s lapdog went with the office of President of Mexico and that he’d soon be inherited by Felipe Calderon!

Politicians *spit* make fools of us all, and closet (fake contemporary) liberals running as (fake conservative) Republican’ts are worse even than the fake liberals that populate the Democrappic party.

    *sigh*

“War on Terror”? Nah. It’s a scam. If a Global War on Terrorism is to be waged, we need someone who’s serious about it leading it. Maybe Australia’s John Howard or Lech Kaczyński, President of Poland. They’re the only guys I know of who’ve showed any serious resolve in fighting Islamic jihad.

Awesome rant. I think we are pretty much on the same page.
