Political Humor | What Democrats Want You to Think

Democrats want you to think that you are in danger of being on the phone, talking to a friend or relative, while a NSA agent listens in on your conversation, with Federal Agents waiting outside to kick in the door and detain you as an enemy combatant with no civil rights.

Democrats want you to think that during your detention, if you request a lawyer, you will be told that you are classified under the USA PATRIOT Act as a terrorist, and you don’t have any right to a lawyer. If you ask what the charges are, the agents will tell you that they don’t have to charge you with anything, and they can hold you as long as they want to without ever charging you with any crime.

They want you to think that jack-booted stormtroopers are making a list and checking it twice. They want you to believe that any one of us might wind up being wrongly labeled a terrorist. That’s why they want to persuade us that we are sacrificing our rights to renew the Patriot act. That’s why they want to make it look like they are interested in protecting our civil rights as it pertains to the so-called “domestic spying” issue.

The Democrats want you to think that Bush Administration brownshirts are poised to raid your home at any moment’s notice, and whisk you away to one of our (formerly) secret American “gulags” in a foreign country, where you will be stripped down naked, and forced to stand in a cold cell, being blasted with loud music, and forced to stay awake for days on end, for no reason, other than to break you psychologically, and make you a good drone of the new Fascist Republic of Amerika.

They want you to think that your vote doesn’t count when you cast it on election day, with propaganda about “stolen elections” and “rigged voting machines.”

They want you to think that Republicans, and the Bush Administration will stop at nothing to create a theocratic dystopia here in our country, and they want you to think that the only thing stopping the evil rethuglicans from imposing their Hell on Earth is the ever vigilant eye of the Democratic Party.

They want you to believe all these things, yet there is not one shred of evidence to support these claims. If there were, the ACLU would be sure to let us know about it. They are completely devoid of any factual basis, or the Democrats would be armed with far more than innuendo, distortions, lies, fabrications, misrepresentations, and deceitful rhetoric. They would be armed with facts, and court cases to cite. They are not.

They really do think we’re stupid. They prove it every time they speak, and expect us to believe the intellectually vacant nonsense that they spew forth on a daily basis.

You may now attempt to persuade me that I’m not always right.
