Just might kill you…
So you better strap in, wear protective headgear, a flak jacket, and any other protective gear you can round up. Oh, and get those things they used to pry open Alex’s eyes in the movie, A Clockwork Orange.
It probably won’t surprise those of you more intelligent than people named “Patty,” but I’m really not angry, hateful, and bloodthirsty. In fact, I’m pretty satisfied with my life. The times that I’m not at least satisfied, if not straight out happy, is probably more due to my Bipolar Disorder than it is to an actual unhappiness with my life.
I like my job. I work near home. I get to listen to music at my own workstation, where I’m mostly left to just do my work. I have the freedom to take time off almost any time I need or want to take time off. The only downside is that I don’t make a lot of money, but otherwise, I mostly enjoy it.
When I post things that seem vicious, it’s usually just part of playing the characters that I play on the internet. I do get angry, just like anyone does, but when I post something, no matter what the tone, I’m probably not actually angry. When I’m really and truly well and pissed off, I’m far too consumed with my own rage to do much of anything at all. I certainly am not motivated to start typing.
I’m pretty optimistic in general, tempered by my skepticism, and my general sarcastic nature.
I’m Enthusiastic and Passionate about blogging. It just makes me happy. That’s why I do it. I love the witty comments I get. I love the moronic trolls and their intellectually vacuous screeds. It makes my day when a troll tells me how much I suck.
One thing that made my day recently occurred during a phone conversation with Wild Bill.
WB is someone I consider to be one of my closest friends. That’s saying something too, because I don’t just go around calling casual acquaintances “friends,” much less “close friends.” I’d fall on a grenade for Wild Bill. I’d step in between an armed goblin and Wild Bill’s family and say, “You’ll have to go through me first.” That’s what I mean by close friend.
I was lamenting that I’m not much of an expert at anything at all, whatsoever, and he told me that I’m one of the funniest people in the world. In fact, he said that he and his brother visit Radioactive Liberty when they are short on inspiration.
Go ahead, Troll, say something witty and obnoxious about birds of a feather, peas in pods, or pigs in a sty. I could use the laugh. You know. I was grinning so big today thinking this post through, that it actually made my face hurt.
Hopefully the Troll will make me grin even bigger tomorrow… Unless, of course, it makes good on it’s word and goes away. I don’t much care either way, because I know the rest of you will make me laugh anyway.
I broke a few of my blogging rules writing this. No, not real blogging rules, just things I pretty much never do. See if you can tell me what they are.
Editor’s note: I don’t know who hacked into my site and wrote this touchy-feely piece of garbage, but when I find out, I’m going to stab you. I bet it’s one of those “Humor-Blogs.com” delinquents. ~FIAR

Awwwwww!!!! I knew all along! We’ve both had a big grin kind of a day! I’m glad you had one; you deserve it.
Man….you just took all my sass and stomped all over it with your happy stuff. Grrrrrrrr!

“Bipolar” is NOT a disorder! *heh* I view the menifestations of my so-called bi-polar personality as “melancholy” and “ecstatic” (or close analogs and variants) and am happy to share the so-called “disorder” with other misunderstood creative minds history records. Non-bi-polars have such a narrow range of emotion. *LOL*
Don’t let the bastards get you down with their labels.
(Yeh, I’ve had some very smart people tell me my personality’s bi-polar, including my fav uncle, mentor, most admired role model who has himself been so diagnosed. Hasn’t kept him from being on my list of Most Admired Men of the 20th Century… and beyond. :-))
The DSM is full of crap, IMO (my copy’s long since been filed under “B.S. I no longer need”–*heh*).
BTW, “When I’m really and truly well and pissed off, I’m far too consumed with my own rage to do much of anything at all. I certainly am not motivated to start typing.”
Yeh, pretty much what I’m like @twc. Sometimes typing’s not enough. Beating on trees (yes, conditioned fists can take such abuse), target practice, banging some nails (sometimes LOTS of them) into another project, struggling with recalcitrant (as in “frozen shut with years of rust”) mechanical parts, etc., is MUCH more useful at times like that. Words? Not so much.
Sometimes, grabbing a musical instrument helps me deal with such emotions–one of the better distractions, rechannelings.
But everyone has times when words just will not do the trick.
Still, it’s pleasant to tear a new one for some jackass or to roundly–and properly–ridicule such people as Fifi Bush, President Felipe Calderon’s lapdog, and others on a blog. Really good for the soul, you know?
Besides, it pacifies the voices in my head.

David, I forgot how good you are with the ability to “roundly–and properly–ridicule.” There you sat on my sidebar, not being visited by me.
I’ll try to make a point to stop by TWC more often.
But everyone has times when words just will not do the trick.
That’s why so much stuff in my house is broken.

I liked it better when you weren’t so sensitive…

My stabbin’ hand’s getting a little itchy there, JT.
Oh, wait, that’s just poison ivy.

“My stabbin’ hand”
Is that a euphemism for something naughty? And how did you manage to get “the itch” on it?

“It makes my day when a troll tells me how much I suck.”
Well, I’m not a troll and you still suck. So there. Heh
