so, democrats want to kill babies, let innocent iraqis die, and use your tax payer dollars to fund gayman butt-sex.

republicans want everyone to own guns so that anarchy can ensue, kill evil iraqis who they really have no business killing, and make gay people have sex with the opposite gender.

as for the auctual question, lets get serious for 2 seconds here. I would say that republicans are consevative and democrats are liberals, generally speaking.
