Welcome to the new Radioactive Liberty.com
I just opened up a whole new world of “WTF” by starting up this little blog here. It turns out I have no idea what I’m doing. I want to change the theme, so, I downloaded one that I thought looked close enough to what I want that I can modify the style sheet to my liking.
Oops! I have no idea how to upload the template. The read me file says to upload it to my “themes” folder on my cpanel, but I don’t see a folder there for themes. Am I supposed to make one?
Wordpress recommends Filezilla. Now that site just confuses me. I don’t even know how to download the program. If I figure out how to do that, then what? Do I really need it? What does it do? These things don’t seem to be made too obvious on the Filezilla site.
It looks like Wordpress has some good “how to” documentation, but there’s so much. Looks like I have my reading cut out for me. Like I said, what have I gone and done?
I don’t even know how to install my sitemeter. I guess that’s all part of modifying the CSS. So, we’re back to “how do I install the darn template anyway?
What HAVE I done?

Wow FIAR, this is something. Does the template use ’style’ tags for the main body?
I can’t see the right 2 inches of text.
I want wordpress…
BTW, ask Basil. He’s got time.

The images need to be resized, They lost their resize during the import process. I’ll get it straight soon.

Wow, radioactive deja vu… I jumped from blogger to wordpress a few months ago. Looks like you plowed ahead faster than I did; I waited awhile before trying to migrate everything over.
I remember having image trouble, though in my case the images hosted on blogger simply wouldn’t load in new-url pages. Fooled me for a while because if I had the image in browser cache it would *seem* like it loaded. I figured it was some kind of block 3rd-party thing.
Is this WordPress 2.0/2.01, or 1.5 something?

I have no idea which version it is. It was an auto install when I signed up the hosting. I assume it’s either 2.0 or 2.01 though.
Anyone know how I can tell?
